The law of averages suggests that all Republicans affiliated with Bush should have their resumes audited.

POLITICAL NOTEBOOK
WULSIN KICKS OFF CAMPAIGN

Dr. Victoria Wulsin's campaign for Congress kicked off at an energetic rally in Cincinnati, where local politicians praised the public health doctor and supporters were energized by her vision.

Wulsin is running against U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt.

Dr. Wulsin's speech was a harsh indictment of her opponent: "You know, when our veterans like Jack Murtha and Paul Hackett come back from military service they should be greeted like the heroes they are. It is an outrage that every time a veteran runs for office, people like my opponent question their patriotism and challenge their bravery. Jean Schmidt voted to cut funding for the program that protects our families from outbreaks of deadly disease and biological attack. That's irresponsible and it's dangerous. Talk about cut and run."

"Vic is a fantastic candidate," Hackett said. "And we have all got to get behind Vic Wulsin so come this November, we knock out mean Jean Schmidt. Let's emphasize this ladies and gentlemen, (Vic's) not making up her college degrees. What it says on her resume, she's actually accomplished." Hackett was referring to the fact that for many years, Jean Schmidt falsely claimed she had a degree in secondary education. She was reprimanded in a 7-0 vote by the Ohio Elections Commission.
