What is it exactly that Ann Coulter admires about Lieberman? |
|
And has Lieberman responded to her endorsement? Has he welcomed it ? Repudiated it? Played dead?
Coulter's endorsement is a *major* boo-boo by the right and Lamont should be exploiting it for all it's worth. You can be sure Lieberman would.
Picture Nomentum trying to explain just a few of Ms. Coulter's more deranged threats ( which would get her *arrested* were she a leftist)and observations.

1. I believe Lieberman has, rightly, ignored Coulter's endorsement... |
|
as for Coulter herself, I think she did it for the same reason she does anything -- to piss people off and, thusly, sell more books.
As for Lamont using it, I certainly don't think it's out of bounds. Maybe he should run an ad featuring Coulter's endorsement before an ominous voiceover states: "Joe Lieberman represents the Ann Coulter wing of the Republican Party. Who represents you? Vote Lamont."
Hell, that's what I'd do.

5. She's pure evil, if you don't condemn her, you support her |
|
I know that the world is comprised of shades of grey, but not in the case of the Coultergeist. It is pure unadulterated evil. If it supports you, you have a sacred duty to hold an exorcism and ask what you've done to deserve such a vistation.

6. Coulter? Pure evil? Naaaaahhh... |
|
I mean, maybe if you take her seriously, but honestly, who does that?

15. I would play vids of Coulter's endorsement for the commercial |
|
followed by other clips of her rants ... that would drive voters away from Coulter and Lieberman ...

2. He reminds her of a shar-pei |

A whiny, wrinkled old shar-pei. Plus, she loved his Adam's apple...wants one just like it.

...the same things that Sean Hannity and Michelle Malkin do, as they have come out rather forcefully for him, along with FOX News' Morton Kondracke. Could one of the attractive things be their embrace of "centrist" policies alá Holy Joe?
Yeah, that must be it--Malkin's, Hannity's, Coulter's and Kondracke's deep-seated love for "centrist" policy.

8. Just the fact that people like this are coming |
|
out in support of Lieberman should give his supporters some pause. When do you ever hear of the likes of Hannity, Coulter, Malkin, etc. say anything nice about any Democrat? Even if Joe does not acknowledge the support (smart on his part) its still there. I wouldn't want to vote for ANYONE that is liked by any of these creeps.

11. Exactly ! But I think Lamont has to connect the dots.... |
|
and I don't believe he's mentioned her. Actually, something like that would fall to his media and campaign staffers; but that's.... ok.
Point is... he shouldn't be ALLOWED to simply "not acknowledge her support". Lamont and Co. should publicly call on him to *disavow* it.
Whatever Lieberman does, in this regard, it's win/win for Lamont.
