2. Exclusive from Tony Snow on MSNBC this morning:
Bush is working in the background to resolve the conflict. Mr. Snowjob reassured the American public that Bush has been on the phone speaking to leaders in the region and is tirelessly trying to come up with a solution.

4. Oh, "in the background"
New code words for "passed out on the bathroom floor"? Good thing the WH has an excellent cleaning crew.

11. I feel for the guy that has to come in & collect all that fecal excrement.
I wonder how much mullah it would get on Ebay. Bush himself would buy it back to prevent someone from analyzing it for all the drugs he's consumed.

The man is certainly hiding something! Why else would they save and protect his sh**? Maybe they just want to put it on display in his Presidential library...maybe freeze dry it.

14. Heck, they're probably going to sell it in the Presidential library
gift shop! Do you know how much the fatuous fundies would pay to have a piece of Their Lord Bush with them at all times?

7. I'm sure Bush "had no idea that this would happen."
This is the all too often used EXCUSE for their dismal and dangerous failures. Fell free to used the term "DISMAL AND DANGEROUS" as much as you like.

8. Pro-lifers are loving the destruction of life in the ME and condi
will be working on the sabbath. Shouldn't she be stoned to death as it says in the bible? Or will the zealots just wink, wink and continue to cherry pick in their religious book and ignore the inconvenient stuff. Please, any lurkers set me straight.

12. Is Richard Perle going with her?
It doesn't take much to see why the current admin has been and always will be a failure in the region. Their entire world-view is coloured by ideology to the point of turning white into black, hot into cold.

Did anyone catch Dubya use the lib catchphrase "root cause" the other day, refering to Hezbollah? These guys couldn't detect a "root cause" if they tripped over it in a forest. They are almost biologically incapable of even considering social causes to anything in their blind adherence to "free marketism" and "democracy" (meaning a US-style corporatist, selective dictatorship).

Oh, Tom Leher... we need to send in the Marines once again:

When someone makes a move
Of which we don't approve,
Who is it that always intervenes?
U.N. and O.A.S., They have their place, I guess,
But first - send the Marines!

We'll send them all we've got,
John Wayne and Randolph Scott;
Remember those exciting fighting scenes?
To the shores of Tripoli,
But not to Mississippoli,
What do we do? We send the Marines!

For might makes right,
And till they've seen the light,
They've got to be protected,
All their rights respected,
Till somebody we like can be elected.
Members of the corps
All hate the thought of war;
They'd rather kill them off by peaceful means.
Stop calling it aggression,
Ooh, we hate that expression!
We only want the world to know
That we support the status quo.
They love us everywhere we go,
So when in doubt,
Send the Marines!

13. Bush needed her at his side at the NAACP Convention yesterday...
so she couldn't leave until she was done being his "token".

And, after this administrations's performance in NOLA, did we really expect a faster response?
