ADA - Congressional Voting Records
The Americans for Democratic Action, ADA, is a liberal democratic organization started by Elenor Roosvelt and Hubert Humphry amoung others. They compile the lifetime voting records of Senators and Congressmen and rate them on how they vote on the issues.

Check em out...

House Of Representatives Lifetime Voting By State - http://www.adaction.org/hor.htm

Senate Lifetime Voting Records By State - http://www.adaction.org/sen.htm

Kerry's voting record rates consistently in the 90's with one 100 - pretty impressive! :kick:

1. Anyone who thinks Kerry isn't "liberal enough" needs to check this out
He has a 93% score out of 100. Highest in Mass. He has to be one of the highest (if not the highest) in the nation. I just clicked on a few other states to see what their Dem senators scored... 30%, 40%, 50%. 93% is highly liberal.

4. How many missed votes?
It can skew the numbers quite a bit.

7. Missed votes? 62% as of 11/9
According to http://cgi.citizen-times.com/cgi-bin/print/44796 ,
Kerry missed 62% of votes while campaigning for President. (That figure is out of date, November 9. Maybe someone can dig up a more recent figure.)

The adaction figures seem to have stopped in year 2000, so they don't reflect Kerry's recent record.

3. The American Conservative Union also has ratings
These are pretty good too if you want to see how the other side sees it.

8. Wrong. Kucinich is higher.
Not true. Go to http://www.lcv.org/scorecard/scorecardmain.cfm and select Massachusetts. Kerry has 92%.

Now select Ohio. Kucinich has 95%.

North Carolina? Edwards scored 68%.

But, he'll catch up within a year or so, I predict.
