Democrats Call on Congress to Implement 9/11 Commission Recommendations.

Nearly two years the release of several critical homeland security recommendations,Replugs have failed to make our nation secure as it should be.This week,House Democrats released a report detailing Democratic efforts to enhance our nation's security and the Republican roadblocks that have prevented Congress from enacting critical reforms.In fact, the 9-11 Commission's report card gave the Dubba Administration and the replug Congress a failing grade on implementing their security recommendations. Nearly five years after the 9-11 attacks,we are not safe as we should be. We have every reason to ask why and demand President Dubba and Replugs leaders make the safety of the American people their number one priority. Democrats continue to call for the implementation of all the 9-11 Commissions recommendations,and will continue to fight for bipartisan solutions that will keep Americans safer.
