Did DU'ers watch C-Span's Panel on "Broken Branch" re Broken Congress?

It was an AEI Panel Discusion about the new book by Norm Ornstein and Thomas Mann about how Congress is BROKEN... Panel featured Newt Gingrich, Tom Foley (former House Speaker) and Ornstein and Mann talking about how "one party politics" wasn't what "Founding Fathers" of America were thinking it would come to?

Did you see it? What did you think, if you did? (I have to admit I turned it off in middle of Gingrich because I already know Congress is Broken...and it was too painful to hear him retch on about the "Federalist Papers." Ornstein was excellent...Mann, too wonky...but I admire them for trying even though the American Enterprise Institute sponsered it...and I think the "Think Tanks" need to be run out of DC quickly.

2. He's responsible for the current situation with

his Contract for America, it's started back then. Remember his irresponsible shutting down
of the government functions, I will be glad when this crowd finally leaves DC.
