1) they're afraid of being called "soft on terrorism" by the M$M?
2) they're afraid of AIPAC?
3) they're afraid of their own (liberal) shadows?
4) they're afraid of not taking the loser advice they pay big bucks to hear from DLC consultants?

2. Because we have no leadership to formulate a counterpolicy.

Because they are spineless and timid.
Because intellectually they have nothing holding them together.
Because they reflect America's essential apathy.
Because, at bottom, they just want to be reelected and hence believe caution is the best way to get that job done.
