Take a close look at this picture.
(Apologies if this has been previously posted.) It was taken last week by a Russian photographer at the G-8 summit in St. Petersburg. Here is the Yahoo link to the photo:

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/060714/481/c50f341342f446b59fcf46eea240556c

Here is a larger version. It has not been Photoshopped, as far as I can tell:

Look at Bush, and look at Putin looking at Bush.

Now look at the beer bottle in front of Bush. And what appears to be two more beers chilling in a bucket to the left of the buffet table.

My question is:

Can you actually get a Schlitz in Russia, or do you have to import your own?

2. They claim that Bush
brings all his own food and drink with him on his trips. He won't eat anyone else's cooking because he's afraid of being poisoned.

have their poop safely scooped awsy from spying eyes. A lot can be learned from poop (physical condition, drugs etc).

The hunt for "the pig" (boar actually) was a major media attraction in Germany.

8. One thing's for sure - it's NOT an O'Douls (non-alcoholic) beer:

O'Douls bottles are green. That looks more like a Coors Light.

Coor's LA Beer is Brown Bottled as well, Christian Conservative Shithead company and all that.

Still he looks trashed.

22. It possibly could not be a Schlitz, since
it is barely brewed any longer. But it is still brewed in Texas, and there are lots of brown-bottled "longneck" beers. I was judging from the beer bottle's label, which strongly resembles the old Schlitz:

This gold label is often silver in Texas, like this:

The angled smaller neck label doesn't match what's in front of * in the picture, but these photos might not reflect newer labeling, either.

And of course it might not be Schlitz anyway. But no recovering alcoholic I know drinks three near-beers at dinner, either.

And I speak as somebody who grew up behind a bar. It was my family's business. If he showed up in that state I would refuse to serve him.

7. Putin appears to be thinking:
"You're supposed to sit over here next to me. You alcoholic fool."

Of course this still doesn't excuse the groping of the German chancellor, nor the cursing-while-chewing, nor the long-term habit he has of inappropriately touching people's heads.

Bush could still be a recovering alcoholic rather than a backsliding one, and those actions would be inexcusable.

Putin got him drunk and ....?
Who else was there?
Looks like water in the glasses next to George but none by Putin maybe someone just arrived and is being welcomed by the host. Plates are unused this is before dinner. Not good not good. Seriously not good.

14. Yep. The president has fallen off the wagon at a
moment in history when the world is in dire need of the most sober decision-making.

We're in trouble. How much, how big, and how bad is yet to be determined.

15. You're assuming he was on the wagon.
I don't think he ever climbed on.

There have been occasional pictures throughout the last 6 years showing him with an alcoholic beverage.

We've been in the hands of a inebriated halfwit all this time.

Explains a few things, huh?

But like most alcoholics he thinks it is ok because it is only beer.
Putin looks like he is sizing him up. My impression is that putin is a calculating individual that is looking to get an advantage from the situation.
