some criticism of dems is pure hypocrisy
consider the following thread about the renomination of John Bolton.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x2408722

If these people really cared as much as they say about John Bolton being confirmed, and they really wanted the dems to fight him, they would know that they got their wish last year.

But what I'm seeing there is denial, or lying. Either they have blocked out the fact of what happened last year, or they're rewriting history.

Either way, it shows that the dems fighting and defeating Bolton is exactly what they DON'T want.

1. Lieberman voted against Bolton because it was safe to do so.

Bolton was going to be confirmed no matter how Lieberman voted. It's when his vote *matters* that the senator votes with the GOP. And that's why so many CT Democrats are voting for Ned Lamont on August 8th.

3. it doesn't really matter to you how he voted
does it?

That's kind of what I'm talking about.

Those people don't care about the Bolton vote at all.
