3. All good things must come to an end
and the way to make them end faster is to throw hissy fits over them.

Nobody likes tantrum throwers, Joe.

10. If Paul Newman and Jackson Browne are sending checks to your
opponent's campaign office, it's NOT a good sign.

Lieberman may yet prevail in this primary; I'm not an oracle and I don't know what's going to happen.

But the trendlines suggest a Lamont win, or at least a strong possibility of a Lamont win, on August 8th.

If that happens, I'd tell Joe that he needs to withdraw from the race, hold a press conference to endorse not only Ned Lamont, but the Democratic voters of his state who CHOSE Ned Lamont over him.

If Joe wants to keep working in politics, no one's stopping him, but his celebrity slot on FOX may be a thing of the past after this primary.

He's employable as a major rainmaker for any law firm in the country. He could start a foundation with his wife for the restoration of New Orleans for the people who actually lived there before the hurricane. His career began in the American South helping people; it could end there as well, and it would be good work and he'd be good at it.

12. Well, the moral of this story, the moral of this song
is simply that one should never be where one does not belong.

So when you see your neighbor carryin' somethin',
Help him with his load,
And don't go mistaking Paradise For that home across the road.
