looks pretty bad
This plan bush has of sending relief to Lebanon , what is this , you feed the people as you allow their country to be bombed , sounds like a political patch to me . Nothing good will come out of this disaster for anyone but the powers at be . If the US is not hated enough already well this should certainly do it . We have absolutely no so called home land security so if we get bombed and whatever happens you may as well kill your ass goodbye . Crips , I think the guilt of being an american will kill me well before some attack .

This is madness , this is crazy , bush I hope you burn somewhere real quick and take your exclusive team of murdering liars with you , go crawl down in your bunkers and surface to nothing .

All these freaks , the governments and the end dayers and the militants , there is s line of freaks sucking off of all this death .

Peace on earth , nice idea it was , nice concept that is basically blown to hell now .

The BCF never took one thing off their table of death , they just keep bringing more out of their plan of death drawer .

People mean nothing in their grand kill scheme , the less the better , all the money lies in military hardware and explosives and death squads .

1. I think we're all about to burn.
At least it's over and we needn't worry and fret anymore.

3. Really, There's Something Comforting About This
It's sort of like how I felt Nov. 12 2000 (day after fraudulent election), or Sept. 11, 2001, or March 22, 2003 (start of latest Iraq war). At least I can stop worrying about what's going to happen.

4. You guys are depressing me
But, believe me, I've had the same exact thoughts! Perhaps, some kind of military coup needs to occur to get the head Bozos out of the way!

7. Sounds like how it is after you get in your first car crash.
No more reason to worry about when you're going to get into your first car crash.

Sigh...

Why doesn't anybody "in power" get it - that for every so-called "terr'ist" you blow away, you enrage 5 to 10 more on their side who may previously have been noncombatants - who then resolve to come after you with everything they've got, to avenge the first murder? WHY don't they get that? WHY doesn't Israel understand that you can't get rid of Hezbollah or any other anti-Israel entity by simply trying to rub 'em out, anymore than you can rid your house of ants or roaches? You HAVE TO seek another way.

5. I posted something rather less eloquent yesterday,
but it was along the same lines. I don't want the SS coming to my door, but let me just say that we'd be very fortunate if the Pretzel would disappear. Although what he's put into motion cannot easily be stopped.

6. It looks like a military coup is the only chance we have
As much as I have thought about this , as much as I went out and voted with hope and kept track of who was who trying to win a seat now I am very close to or should I say at the point of realizing voting is not going to get these madmen out of office . Look at how desperate these criminals were to steal the elections . twice the presidental and twice midterms to gain the control of the house and senate . Now that they are all in place and have seated two supreme court judges to allow them all the control anyone would ever need for securing their future and taking ours .

With this , how can we expect elections at anytime to dent the fender on their rolling tank . We hopefully wander into the polling place and watch a machine handle our invisable ballot , it is nothing more than time bought by them , a distraction while we campaign and ponder with canditates of high hopes to revive the american dream .

They pull out plan D out of their sweated back pocket and blow up down town LA and we run off in fear , election over . They are not only capable of it with hardware but with mental instability as well .

I hate thinking like this , I really do , I just can't seem to boil up the pot of high hopes when so far each day there is yet another section of land and life being ripped from the planet and all of us trapped in this massive illusion sit back and watch wishing it would just stop .

8. alternatives
This plan bush has of sending relief to Lebanon , what is this , you feed the people as you allow their country to be bombed , sounds like a political patch to me .

This is an important point because it points out how inadequate bush's effort is. The best alternative would be for the US to call for a stop of the bombing, and also send relief. I'm hoping that you agree that we need to send relef...maybe not, but I do. If bush called for an end to the violence, he might or might not get Israel to respond. Nevertheless, I see little hope of bush asking Israel to do anything. Besides, even if Israel stopped, Hizbullah wouldn't. I'm not buying the hype, I'm being realistic.

Robert Fisk, normally a strong critic of the actions of the US and Israel, was quoted in an article I read. Fisk was as expected highly critical of US-Israeli actions, while lamenting the city that he loves, Beirut. But what caught my attention was his assessment of Hizbullah. He said that Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah was a cruel, vicious man.

If you are waiting for the "good guys" to arrive, it will not happen.

Condemn bush 24/7 because he opened the Pandora's Box when he removed Saddam, a cruel but balancing force to Iran. Stupid. Just Stupid.

But if we can only feed the people of Lebanon, then please let us do so.

9. i agree with feeding the people of Lebanon
I hold no hate for any of the citizens anywhere in to world , I don't want to see anyone suffer or die for any reason .

I don't support any wars . I certainly hold hate for the leaders such as the bush admin and other leaders who use people as expendable items .

Best case they stop the bombing and killing , next best they at least secure the citizens safety . I doubt however that bush or many other people around the globe care one bit for the people of Lebanon anymore than they cared for the people of Iraq or New Orleans , this is the truely sick part , this is the part that keeps me up nights and does make me realize you and me are looked upon the very same way , the people of america now ( whether they care to admit or even see the possibility ) are not important and why should we be any different in this grand scheme to murder and eliminate . As if this is something new , it just stands out a hell of a lot more now than it did ever before .

12. Exactly
And while I figured from the OP that you wanted to feed and restore the lives of the people of Lebanon, I just wanted to make a point: bush will never do anything right, or in this case, for the right reason. This isn't about the people of Lebanon to him, this is about political gaming.

No, bush doesn't care about us, and he is not the only one.

One day I was crawling down a highway trying to navigate an ice storm, when someone on NPR said, "When you dream alone, your dream remains a dream. But when enough people share the same dream and you reach the tipping point, the dream becomes the reality." I've always thought that while the damn storm was awful, I would have missed that had I not been stuck. Know that you are not alone.

What grips me about these endless threads is how seldom people focus on the real problem: bush and all of those like him. The world is enduring the worst leadership ever, let us hope that we can change that.

10. Randi Rhodes was spectacular today on the subject of
Lebanon...

And she had a woman who lost her son in 911 who talked about how the remains of most of the victims were in the Fresh Kills Dump (I think that's the name) and then she has to hear the crap about stem cell research andn embryos. The hypocrisy could drive you to drink...

11. You shouldn't allow external forces to affect you internally so much
In so doing, you surrender your mind and your destiny to forces beyond your control. This too shall pass.
