So how is the electric business in California ?
It must be wonderful with a republican as governor and that evil Grey Davis no longer the Chief Executive. No doubt limbaugh is going a compare and contrast on how much better things work with a member of the gop in charge and how much more efficient the electric utilities handle extreme hot condition. Ya know how bad things were with Davis, not today!!

1. Funny you should mention it...
I've seen credit given to Davis for making those 2001 deals that started the recall process.
It surprised me that reporters remembered to point this out.

2. It's quite a pity that these blackouts are going to occur right before..
the fall election. This surely CANNOT help Arnie. :nopity:

4. Thanks for setting me straight on that
No doubt any problems the power companies are having in California are all Clinton's fault and have been for the past 50 years and will be for the next 50.

5. problems are ONLY with investor owned utilities -
in the enron days and now, only public companies like edison and pg&e are having power problems. city owned utilities like LA dept of water and power and others are actually selling surplus into the system.

the investor owned utilities are rapacious vultures who screw the power users to benefit the corporation.

these power coporations own the public utilities commission, which is a prostitute to edison, ATT, et al.
