No women aid workers in Pakistan quake area: clerics

MANSEHRA, Pakistan (Reuters) - Muslim clerics in Pakistan's conservative North West Frontier Province want local authorities to expel all women working for international relief agencies in earthquake affected areas by the end of this month.

The clerics accuse the women, including Pakistanis employed by foreign non-government organizations (NGOs), of dressing improperly, mixing with men and drinking alcohol, which is banned in Islamic Pakistan.

"We are not against the NGOs, but we are against them spreading obscenity in society and trying to weaken our faith by corrupting our women," Moazzam Ali Shah, head of Tehreek-e-Islaha Muashra, or Movement to Cleanse Society, told Reuters in Mansehra town.

4. Why do religions tend to hate women?

They have no way to cope with the fact that their god made half of us to bear and do much of the raising of the young. They find our very existence to be a distraction, an obscenity and a threat to their religion.

You can always tell a man's religion: male gods, male officiators, and lots of stupid and inconvenient rules, 90% of which are aimed at controlling the behavior of women.

I can't help but think that these controlling and woman hating men are going to be in for a terrible shock when they die.

A woman has to go around feeling guilty of being an "occasion of sin" for any horny male with wandering eyes and a dirty mind. Oh, he bears a little guilt for entertaining the thought, but she bears the brunt of it for inspiring it.

And yes, even if she's modestly dressed and acting mousy and has no clue in the world that bored guy at the other end of the conference table is mentally stripping and raping her because he has nothing better to do with his mind.
