I'm watching Lieberman on C-SPAN and he disgusts me more and more. |
|
I've never been what you'd call a fan of L'il Joe Lieberman, but today I became an outright loather of him. What a pandering poltroon he is!
Dodd introduced Joe and Big Dog together. The crowd went wild for Bill, and L'il Joe did everything he could to make the crowd think that he and Clinton were Siamese twins. Lieberman could not keep his hands off Clinton! By every measly means at his disposal, Joe tried to touchy-feely marry himself to Bill.
He looked just like Smirk draping himself all over that befuddled fire captain at Ground Zero. Smirk was trying to create an impression that day that said, "Look at me, I'm an heroic New York City firefighter." Today, Lieberman was trying to say, "Look at me, I'm Bill Clinton's closest and dearest friend."
The creep.
Of course, what makes all this so galling is the memory of Lieberman stabbing Clinton in the back in 1999 -- and stabbing the rest of us in the back on a regular basis ever since. And as bad as he often votes, he behaves even worse. Like a true (false) politician.
I now thoroughly loathe Lieberman. And I hope I'm a trend-setter.

6. Clinton supports Lying Joe because...... |
|
Joe has some VERY important, VERY rich, VERY influential people as friends and supporters. Clinton still has asperations of regaining some of his previous power and knows that supporting Joe will help to keep the money coming in.

I just started posting here at the DU but I've watching the boards for some time. Honestly, this place is beginning to feel like a "No Jews Allowed" club. Not supporting Israel in it's current efforts is one thing but slinging around these remarks with your unmistakable hostility is quite another. And please, don't try to hide behind plausible-deni-ability, I think everyone here knows what you meant. I mean really, if you've got something to say then just say it.

3. I don't want to put words in your mouth... |

...so please explain "stabbing the rest of us in the back on a regular basis ever since." I think I know what you mean but I don't want respond to something that you didn't actually say.

4. Not only did he stab Clinton in the back |
|
He clucked about Clinton's actions like a 19th century housefrau, passing judgment and singing his moral and religious pieties on the Senate floor.
Then he supported W's War in which perhaps 100,000 have perished and our country has lost a division of soldiers killed and maimed. What kind of moral, religious man is this who glibly cheers the deaths of thousands while sanctimoniously denouncing a man's sexual indiscretions?

he belittled Clinton and stood on the Congress floor and bemoaned how Clinton was a bad leader...blah..blah...blah....even though Clinton brought him power....
I have been over him a long time...good riddance...
