Nephew just back from Iraq/marines ...said things are bizarre
He says the majority of US troops are inside large bases with only a few out in the hostile areas. Food supplies, MREs, ammo, etc. are delivered daily to those at remote sites which are dangerous locations. He said people would be surprised at the numbers not out "in the field". Is this Rumm-ass' way of keeping the US troop death toll down?

1. and forgot to add that he wanted us to show him every Bush idiot
blundering news clip that was out there so he could enjoy how stupid our commander in chief is ...probably destressing ...said it was embarassing to have Bush as a leader.

4. classic garrison behavior....
There aren't any objectives to achieve. The "mission" is a farce. The population is hostile.

5. I guessed that was the situation when the monthly death totals began to
drop. As Iraqi violence and civilian deaths increased, but our military deaths kind of leveled off, I told my son, that Americans were hunkered down on 'bases' or in the Green Zone.

8. Thats why you see the soldiers yahoooing dumbass..
because they don't have to be on patrol most of the time, it seems as though they are just training Iraqis in the green zone while there are certain amounts of soldiers patrolling.

9. My nephew just returned from second tour, and he was stationed......
......in Taji, north of Baghdad. They had Taco Bells, Subways, Burger Kings, etc.....all the conveniences of home inside the gates. Outside was very dangerous, but he said most were inside fences, too!
