What I'd like to see - A sort of mini-midterm Democratic Convention

I don't know if such a thing exists, but I'd like to see the Dems start having a mini-midterm Democratic Convention-like grouping to pump up the Democratic party during the mid-term elections. Imagine a place where all of the bigger Dems get together and make big speeches to get us all going for the fall elections.

I think it would be pretty exciting to gather Howard Dean, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Wes Clark, John Edwards, John Lewis, John Conyers, Nancy Peloisi, Barbara Boxer and many others together to wind the base up to a wild frenzy.
