Lieberman Stealth: Pre-taped Clinton calls registered Dems!
Several moments ago, an East Haven, CT resident called me to express outrage that she was just the recipient of a "phone call" from President Clinton urging her to support Joe Lieberman.

And here we were all thinking the ads would be next!

We have REALLY got to get the vote out, folks. Any support would be so greatly appreciated.

Click here: Ned Lamont for Senate

Here is Clinton's NY office number in case anyone would like to let "Big Dawg" know how they feel: 212-348-8882, ext. #3

Thanks, Truthseekers - Mary

4. Joe the hypocrite
He's whining that Lamont is "buying the election" yet Lieberman has spent twice as much as Ned has and is sitting on a $9M war chest. And since Ned is largely self - financed Joe is allowed to accept twice as much per donor as Lamont.

I'm not convinced that Joe will really run as an independent when Lamont beats him in 2 weeks. Joe's going to wake up on August 9th and look at those millions sitting in his campaign account. If he retires he gets to keep all that lovely money for his own personal use. If he contests the general election he could spend all or most of it and still not win. I predict that the temptation to cash out will be too great.

6. No he doesn't
the law was changed in the early 1990's. I remeber because Rostenkowski ran one time to many to keep the money and then had a heck of a time with legal fees. Unless the law was changed back without my knowledge Lieberman will have to either give the money to politicians or give the money to charity.

5. Wow... those robocalls cost a LOT of $$$$$....
THAT is a real benefit of being a real sell-out DLC incumbent... gets you the buckolas to run any kind of campaign you need to in order to win.

Makes my skin crawl.
