Don't you find it a tad hypocritical
that while Condi was supposedly trying to sort out a peaceful solution to the current carnage in Lebanon and (let us not forget Palestine), the Israelis were murdering UN observers and the US were delivering more weapons of mass destruction to the Israelis.

1. Yes, I pointed this out yesterday
I think someone pointed out to me that bcs the weapons were ordered a long time ago, it really didn't mean anything that they arrived at the same time. Yeah, whatever. geesh.

3. not so much that weapons were being delivered, but the rapidity,
delivering them faster than they would have otherwise, that really burns

4. Pat Buchanan also called this out yesterday
At the same time W is giving missles and bombs to Israel(we basically pay for their military) , Condi is ordering relief aid to the Lebanese.

This type of behavior is why the U.S. credibility is about zilch in the world. We talk peace and promote war.

5. Hypocritical? Shows what you know!
The Bushistas and their campaign contributors are getting from both ends, baby! Defense contracts to bomb the shit out of Lebanon, no-bid contracts to put it all back together at cost plus 10%. Sure, some of the dopes who work on these projects are going to have unfortunately close encounters with bombs and death, but that's a risk the overrich are willing to take.

6. Do you think the meeting would have come to the same conclusion if
Condi had been taken on a tour of Beirut as the Israel bombs were dropping?
