Coleman's dad cited for lewd conduct
Police report seeing 81-year-old and woman engaged in sex act in pizzeria parking lot

BY MARA H. GOTTFRIED and TIM NELSON
Pioneer Press
St. Paul police cited the 81-year-old father of Sen. Norm Coleman and a female companion after officers reported seeing them engaged in a sex act in the parking lot of a popular pizzeria.

A person passing Red Savoy's Pizza at 421 E. Seventh St. called police about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and said two people were "having sex in a vehicle," a police report said.

Officers issued citations to Norman B. Coleman Sr. and Patrizia M. Schrag, 38, for lewd and disorderly conduct.

6. And it matters, WHY?
Much as I detest Norm Coleman as a politician, how does some activity by his father reflect on him?

Seems kind of shabby to me, that Dems would even pick up on this as something to talk about. Guess that's just me, though.

8. If they didn't tout their "Family Values" every day, it wouldn't be news..
But they do.

And they lie.

Continuously.

Gotta hand it to the 81 year old guy though. I mean.. he could be playing shuffleboard somewhere..

16. It's relevant because Sen. Coleperson is a notorious womanizer
It's been an open secret in Saint Paul for over a decade that there isn't a cocktail waitress in town that The Teeth From Brooklyn hasn't propositioned. His former co-workers in the Attorney General's office tell me that Norm is a confirmed leg man with a bit of an Asian fetish as well. Ask anyone in Minnesota who hasn't been living under a rock. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, apparently.

10. Bob Dole fired. Coleman hired as new spokesman for Viagra.
Or, maybe he's not a user.

>>>"I love my father dearly," he said. "I do not condone his actions or behavior, and I am deeply disturbed by what I have learned. He clearly has some issues that need to be dealt with, and I will encourage him to seek the necessary help."<<<

He's 81 years old. How do you expect to change his behavior?

"Some issues" ---like your wife lives in New Jersey, and you have Alsheimer's disease.

Thanks, and a big shout-out to Pfeizer! -------- I feel better knowing SOMEONE is benefitting from all the "advances in science" made by American Pharmaceutical Companies. No cures for cancer, AIDS, or the common cold. No cures for Parkinson's, MS either. And, gawdforbid we should be able to get your pills from Canada for less than they cost us here in the U.S. But, you have found a way to give an 81-year-old man a boner. God Bless America!

And, the beat goes on.

21. He's 81 and she's 38
I love to point out to anti-gay marriage bigots who think that they should get to dictate other people's relationships based on their comfort level that I find a lot of May-December relationships creepy. That's my personal feeling so why shouldn't it be as valid a consideration in determining legislation and constitutional amendments? Forcibly divorce Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, I say! They're threatening the sanctity of marriage and the stability of families. At least I think so. ;)

22. If she's 38 and he's 81, and they're doing it in a parking lot,
do you really think it's a "relationship"? I don't think so.

I do, however agree with you about the troubling aspect of the Michael Douglas/Catherine Zeta-Jones marriage... they very well may be threatening the sanctity of marriage and the stability of families everywhere and must be stopped!

23. Reminds me of a joke...
An old man walks into a church, and goes for a confession. The priest pulls back the window, and the old man says: "Forgive me father, for I have sinned. I am 80 years old and I was walking home from the library the other day and two college girls stopped their car and said they were on spring break and needed directions and we got into a discussion and they offered
to drive me home and on the way one of them asked me the last time I'd had sex and I told them it had been years and she said would I like to have some fun and before I knew it the three of us were in my apartment and I had the most magnificent sex for two nights and the day between and they're still there waiting for me and promised they'd show me things I never even knew a
man and woman could do. And that's why I've come to confession."

And the priest asks, "When was the last time you went to confession?"

And the old man says, "Actually, this is the first time."

And the priest says, "You're 80 years old and this is your first confession? Why now?"

And the old man says, "Because I'm Jewish."

And the priest asks, "In that case, why are you telling me?"

And the old man says, "I'm telling everybody."
