7. too early to tell
At this point, it seems like a pick up of six seats (and control) of the Senate is not completely out of reach, but a longshot. A three or four seat pick up seems well within reach, however.

In the House, where incumbency and redistricting present huge hurdles to ousting sitting members, I think the conventional wisdom is that the Democrats are fairly certain to pickup between five and ten seats, but that the possibility exists for a more substantial pickup.. between 15 and 20.. that would give the Democrats control of the House. The difficult in forecasting House races is that voters tend not to focus on them until the Fall, so its still early. (Statewide races for Senate seats tend to start taking shape earlier).

5. Sorry
To many Die Hard bush fans. No way to turn around those safe seats in the neocon land of "Jesus riding around in Nascar with a gun."
