As long as CNBC and Corporate Media Pump "Economy is Strong"
Edited on Fri Jul-28-06 08:32 PM by KoKo01
no one much cares about "world stability." Everyone thinks things are fine and their 401-K's are safe and they can "Day Trade" with the big boys forever! Keeping American's calm is left up to "Market Manipulators" but as long as you know how to play the game...you aren't going to complain, right? Even if the Government's "Numbers" on this "Great Economy" might have been "tweaked and tinkered with?" Maybe even manipulated...?

True or False?

2. Nope, not true! Haven't you heard the different hosts on many
chanels ask "If the economy is really doing so well, why do all the polls say most Americans have a very poor opinion of how it's doing, and a poorer opinion of the future?"

There have been a few guests actally tell the truth. If you are in the highest 2% the economy IS doing very well, but for everyone else.....not very well at all!!!!!

They can keep pushing it, but most don't believe it!

3. Only true for people who watch that crap
Most people are lucky to catch a half hour of news at night. They see the real news all day long: jobs threatened by offshoring, low wages going nowhere, high gas prices, inflation creeping into everything they need to survive like food and clothing and even OTC medicines they have to rely on because they are looking at not being able to afford the group health insurance any more, not with those huge copays.

I'm afraid the approval figures for Stupid tell the real tale. 2/3 of the people in this country know the corporate hacks pulling down those high six figure salaries to read propaganda to them every night either don't know what the hell they're talking about or are so corrupt they don't care.

As more and more people in this country slide into desperation caused by GOP fiscal bungling and cruelty, we'll see even more disapproving of the gang of thieves, period. All the lies CNBC can come up with won't make a bit of difference.
