5. Be prepared to start getting mail from the ACLU every two weeks asking

for additional donations. I support the ACLU but Romero has not improved it - he was the one who pushed for aggressive donation mailings. I'll bet in a year's time, the ACLU spent $15 on mailings to me - none of which did anything but annoy me at how horribly they were wasting my hard-earned money. (I have expressed this to the ACLU).

I'll keep donating but will combine my donation with others' so the ACLU doesn't keep mailing me.

:thumbsup: I became a monthly donor in November 2004 in response to the horrible election results. I recently increased my donation in response to the Flag and Marriage Amendments that the right wing tried to push. The ACLU is the antidote to the radical right!
