Bush Submits New Terror Detainee Bill
By Anne Plummer Flaherty
The Associated Press

Friday 28 July 2006

Washington - U.S. citizens suspected of terror ties might be detained indefinitely and barred from access to civilian courts under legislation proposed by the Bush administration, say legal experts reviewing an early version of the bill.

A 32-page draft measure is intended to authorize the Pentagon's tribunal system, established shortly after the 2001 terrorist attacks to detain and prosecute detainees captured in the war on terror. The tribunal system was thrown out last month by the Supreme Court.

No kangaroo courts. Try suspects in civilian courts, as John Walker Lindh and Zacharias Moussaoui were.

Phone Monday morning and ask to speak to a staffer about trials for terror suspects:

2. At what point will we admit that this is an authoritarian regime
that has implemented its own americanized modern version of fascism, is hell bent on world domination, and has tossed what was left of the constitution out the window?

Is it fascism yet?

3. Just say no
No more fascist leaning legislation for this tin pot little pissant dick tater. If anyone can't plainly see he's reaching for unitary powers A.K.A. "dictatorship" then I must ask what color is the sky in your world. No more. Period. This shithead should be on his frigging knees begging the country's forgiveness for embroiling the USA in an unwinnable situation in Iraq and our pariah status with the rest of the world. Fuck him already.
