Just because it's justified doesn't mean 87% would support actually doing it... ...it's still a stark reflection of vast public dissatisfaction, however. And stands in sharp contrast to what people thought about the Clinton impeachment trial.

Self-selected online polls are good for propaganda value -- so I'm all for "DUing" them -- but they don't mean anything in terms of how people actually feel. You can't know who is participating or how often the same people are voting. They may or may not have anything to do with reality.

Unfortunately, what this represents is more the persistance of our blogosphere than a poll of the American populance.

This poll has been up on the Internet for ages now, and makes the rounds about once a month when people who have not seen it before run across it. Since the results are favorable to our cause, it makes the rounds "here" more often than other places. Hence more people "here" do the voting and it becomes a self-fullfilling prophecy of sorts. I've voted in it twice actually, the first time it got reposted, because at that time I thought it was a new poll (with the same question) posted as a monthly tracker.

Keith Obermann attracts the kind of viewer that would think that. As for the rest of their line-up I cannot say with any certainty. I only watch Obermann.
