Baghdad Bob: All the Israel Spokesmen and women are beginning to sound
just like him to me. BB Remember American Troops are not at the airport. I will take you there and show you. Never did take the reporters and show them.

Israeli spokesman: They are firing rockets into Israel from there and we don't want to be here firing on innocent civilians. We dropped leafets and told them to leave Mean while they kill civilians trying to flee, bomb apartment buildings and UN personnel. Never show evidence of missiles.

1. Does CNN always use so many British news anchors?
It seems that this morning there are only British newspersons sitting in the anchor chairs and interviewing reporters on the ground in both Israel and Lebanon. I am wondering if they are doing this to try to gain more credibility because most people that I know do not believe anything they hear from CNN and its regulars like Wolf Blitzer.

I ask, because I really haven't watched CNN since Katrina and since Anderson Cooper has been totally bastardized by the station. I will stop watching them again as soon as this crisis ends.

morning like this on an international scale. Please turn the station off about 6 because then the idiots will be back trying to make you believe they have a clue of what the fuck they are talking about.

3. I say it does not count who is right but what the people in the
Middle East think. We can be sure that the Arab world and the rest of the Middle East will see that with out the USA they may be able to get rid of Israel now. Some one had better come in a take the matchers away from all these guys. We may have been riding the plane around like in Dr. Stranglove but it looks like now Bush is going to ride the bomb down.

4. Bush, that "windshield cowboy catdaddy" who is scared of horses
ain't got enough nerve to ride THAT bomb down because no matter how well it is aimed, the fallout will affect surrounding areas including Israel.

9. But he will prove that is is always right
What is a few countries gone if your President of the USA and you are sure you are always right. So riding the bomb down is what Clill Wills would do and Bush will also . You do not think he is a nut enough to take every thing with him when he thinks he is right? A zealot is a zealot to give it that Bush reasoning and play on words.

10.  I think Bush is a total fool, a puppet, a Cheney-instrument and
a mouthpiece for The Lobby, etc. BUT, big of an idiot that I believe he is, I truly believe when it comes to destroying HIMSELF, he will stop dead in his tracks.

But back to my last post to you about riding the bomb down in Lebanon, or Syria or Iran, like I said, I don't think that Israel OR Bush want to do this because there is NO WAY to protect Israel from the radioactive fallout. Also, they would be opening the door for those countries to retaliate with nuclear weapons obtained from ............???????

14. That has reason to it. Do you think Bush has any reason for
what he does? He may be, it sure does not fit in with how I think so he just leaves me up in the air. I guess the GOP far right are right when it comes to me. I just do not understand them.

16. You might want to check out this link to gain ONE perspective on
why BushCo acts as it does.

There are other perspectives as well, but this is a start.

18. I will read it. That whole far right seem so un-Am. it is really hard
My ancestors were Puritans and I sometimes feel I am reading their history once more. Yar right down to the dunking chairs to stop those doings some the people in power did not like. I really got a kick out of this once, reading about some member. Reported this family may be Quakers. Not a good thing. Yar they were the people of the 'city on the hill' for real.

15. Yeah, I loved it too. Pickens riding that bomb out of the bomb-
bay doors and down to the earth, waving his cowboy hat like he was on a bull at a rodeo was the favorite scene for me. It is still one of my favorite movies...

5. Leaflets?
What's rather disgusting is that the Israelis indeed dropped leaflets calling on the locals to evacuate... and then proceded to bomb the roads and those travelling on them.

6. Although I most definitely condemn the carnage invoked by Israel...
I cannot agree with this: "Never show evidence of missiles." We have seen dozens of videos of the rockets actually hitting Israeli neighborhoods.

Hezbollah is a sanctioned, functioning arm of the Lebanese government. They are a formidable military that hides among the populace.

7. I'm talking about when they bombed the people fleeing in cars, when
they bombed the UN out post and when they bombed the building this morning. Reporters have repeatly asked them for the evidence when these incidents have occurred and so far they have shown none. Now I'm not taking a position in this post on who is right and who is wrong in the over all conflict and I have seen them blow up actual missile launchers, just not in the specific cases I mentioned. There appears to be a pattern though developing here. Whenever Israel makes a mistake just say missiles were in the area.

12. no one is denying that Hezbollah is...
firing rockets (not missiles) at Israel; the dispute is where they are being launched from--Israel always claims Hezbollah fires from villages, towns, UN observation posts, etc; and while i'm sure there is a grain or two of truth to it, the point is that neither Israel, nor the media, has yet to prove it. Of course, this has become the knee-jerk Israeli justification for ALL of its attacks, and should be taken with a Plymouth Rock-sized grain of salt...
