It's just more inspired psy-ops from Rove. It is a bass-ackwards (and highly effective) way of getting people to ignore his con man odor. Rove is saying, "How could I con you? You're too smart for that!" Sickenlingly effective con artist at work... Some of the rubes will lap it up. But I think most are starting to smell a rat.

No one here thinks that he is dumb enough to treat voters with open condenscension, nor do we give a rats ass how highly he values the intelligence of the American people (us).
