War in Iraq over...?
Did I miss it? Apparently the War in Iraq is over...or at least it looks that way in the MSM.

I guess Liberty won out...freedom is on the march and the liberated peoples of Iraq are working it all out. To conclude this all you need to do is check out the news...Iraq coverage has dwindled...front page stories are all about the new Mid-East crisis in Lebanon.

What happened to Iraq? Does all that mean that we have finally achieved victory or are we all just resigned to "staying the course with the Republicans?

The news folks and the media should be ashamed...that even with 2574 American troops dead and thousands injured.....to say nothing of the countless 10's of thousands (conservative estimate) of Iraqi civilians dead...we have somehow lost touch with this one.

Is it all of a sudden important news when Israel attacks its neighbor? Hundreds of Iraqis are still dying each day...we now have 130,000+ troops in Iraq...troop rotations are being cancelled...and our withdrawl hopes are dimming...yet we now see a weird sort of shuttle diplomacy going on with a terrorist group in Lebanon as the target.

First the war on terror and getting Bin Laden "dead or alive"...then the left turn into Iraq (Bin Laden who?)...and now a shuttle mission to Lebanon..(Halliburton going to fix Iraq?)....Is our administration so lost and dumbfounded that they can not even finish one thing they start before they are distracted buy yet another bright light?

You know moths and other night bugs are attracted to bright lights....if you look close most get "fried" as they get to close.
