Dean says Harris is NOT Stalin, Harris demands apology
Sen. Bill Nelson, the Democratic incumbent, is "going to beat the pants off Katherine Harris, who didn't understand that it is ethically improper to be the chairman of a campaign and count the votes at the same time. This is not Russia and she is not Stalin," said Dean, according to the Associated Press.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/07/29/AR2006072900602_2.html

Uh, sorry I didn't call you Stalin?

No backing down:

Dean is not backing off. "Given that Katherine Harris was identified as 'Representative B' in the Duke Cunningham case, she should be apologizing to the people of Florida for being a crook," DNC spokeswoman Karen Finney said. "When she does, then I'll take their request seriously."

They're learning.

3. Her role in that case is seldom mentioned in our area papers.
Most people have no clue about that. Most do not even know that she was Bush's campaign manager, or one of them.

Keep it going, I say.

5. They have GOT to understand that they must NEVER apologize for
telling the truth!
The proudest moment of the 2004 campaign for me was when Kerry refused to apologize for his statement about this unelected bunch of evil bastards being corrupt...

There is NO POINT in making any statement about these filthy rePiglican assholes if a day or two later they're gonna cry and say 'sorry.'

NEVER BACK DOWN. NEVER APOLOGIZE. TELL IT LIKE IT IS. STICK TO IT. OWN IT. EARN OUR RESPECT AND OUR VOTES.

8. Harris should apologize to America.........
For being involved in the stealing of the 2000 Presidential election. Then tossed in the slammer. Dean is right on and more of these tactics will work on these evil people that call themselves Republicans (Crooks). Pour the truth on because when it lands on a neo-con it sticks like glue!

is a perfectly valid response to cynically calculated false outrage.

Harris soon to be in the dustbin of political history.

14. There were rumors the Florida GOP might replace Cruella
I'm really hoping Dr. Dean has given her "campaign," or whatever it is, just enough oomph to hang on until a crushing November defeat....

If her "honor" is insulted, she'll be too proud to back out of the race, no matter how much the state party begs her.

Way to buck up Katherine, Good Doctor!
