The Republicans won another of those “squeakers.”
But this time the challenge is brough forth and the Democratic Party Supports it.

"We need honesty and openness back in American government …and that
means we do not need election workers taking voting machines home,"

Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean
said at the 3rd annual DemocracyFest at San Diego State
University on Saturday, July 15th..

honest elections.

4. This part: "a count of all paper ballots "
is still troubling. They could have still messed with the touch-screen paperless trail machines and no one would ever know. But at least the Democrat Party is standing up.

6. A good drama to make the point
There is no way to verify or prove a paperless e-voting machine result.

10. At least is right but Dean came out and DEMANDED no more b.s.
I'll take that and we'll see how the suit goes. These are tough cases and the tendency is to
leave things alone. However, we have not had one of these since 2000 where the Democratic
Party endorsed the effort (although it would have been extremely helpful, I suspect, if they
had been party to the suit, which they are not). I think Dean is free-forming on his comments
on the uselessness of e-voting and machiinen unreliablity. The DNC needs to come forward as a
unit and the talent righ legal folks there (Eric Holder was/is with them) needs to come forward.

But I'm not complaining becasue DEAN SPOKE OUT. Thank you Howerd.

And thank you Brad Friedman (BradBlog) and Paul Lehto (Land Shark), lead attorney.

15. You're totally right! I had the pleasure of hearing Dean a few
weeks ago here in San Diego speak out about the Busby/Bilbray race at DemFest, it was wonderful!

12. Amazing stuff isn't it?
This will push the system hard because the core issues will be on the table and I think Paul's case and extraordinary report from Snohomish County, Washington will bear heavily.

Here are the links:

Lehto & Wells v. Sequoia

A Study of Possible Election Fraud - real world setting, 2004 election

The study is one of the real secrets of election fraud research. Lehto is too shy about this. I think it's by far the best natural setting study of potential election fraud.

Cheers.

11. Friedman & Lehto are "Totally Committed" too - tough case, tough guys
We have yet begun to fight. Dean was out in San Diego at a Democratic 'festival' and he reamed the
whole election process out there including election officials taking home the machines for overnights.
What baloney. Have you ever heard of that. I haven't.

We'll prevail and turn this around. In the meantime, Mexico leads the way with 1.0 million plus people hitting the streets and protesting on multiple occasions (also on the news thread).

Thanks for the support!!!!!!!!!!!!
