John Murtha's Military History
Lets take a look at the medals John Murtha has been awarded in light of him being called cowardly by "conservatives."

Joined Marines in 1952. Served for 37 years in an active in inactive reserve status. Volunteered for duty in Vietnam in 1966. While in Vietnam John Murtha was awarded:

- Bronze Star with Combat "V" (Valor) - For heroic service in connection with operations against an opposing armed force. The "V" identified the award as resulting from an ACT OF COMBAT HEROISM.

- Two Purple Hearts for BEING WOUNDED (or killed) in an action against an enemy of the United States. He got two of them.

- Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry - Awarded by the country of South Vietnam to military personnel who have accomplished deeds of valor or DISPLAYED HEROIC CONDUCT WHILE FIGHTING AN ENEMY FORCE.

Obviously the guy just went there to pad his resume. No doubt just a cowardly typical democrat who just so happened to serve in combat. No big fucking deal to "conservatives" in America today. The same one's who aren't serving in Iraq.

1. In order to be a hero, you need to serve Big Pharma and Big Oil.
You know, you need to be an Uber Shillbilly.

3. He genuinely cares about American soldiers
serving overseas...
I have seen him on CSPAN talking about their issues with a passion and conviction I have yet to see in the dull, dead eyes of any neo-con who dully says "support the troops", knowing full well how empty that statement is coming from him/her...
