It's sad that partisanship is so dominating.
I don't plan to run for any offices, so I won't play by the rules, and I'll stick to my centrist views.

I would consider myself fiscally conservative (ie. private property rights, limited taxes, capitalism).
I believe that national defense is a priority that should not be downgraded or cut.
I love being an American, but I don't think our way of life should be forcefully exported.
On social issues, I am more liberal. I don't support prayer in public schools, although a moment of silence is fine. Having that said, I will never go to the Supreme Court and demand the words "under God" be retracted from the Pledge of Allegiance. I am for full separation of Church and State. I support gay marriage. To me, homosexuality is not a sin, and it is not a choice. There is genetic evidence that some people are born gay.
