I'm not in CT, but in a primary turnout is THE key. Not just "the key," like in a GE- in a primary, it's basically all that matters.

So, if you're in CT, get yourself and everyone you know (who's voting for your candidate, whoever that may be) to the polls. Don't take "no" for an answer.

5. My Hubby asked this morning why I care so much about a Dem

Primary race in Connecticut.
I carefully explained that the ouster of a Bush-enabler like Lieberman, while not only good for the Country in and of itself, sent a message to all the other Bush-enablers who were clearly NOT putting the interests of their constituents first: that they need to ACT like the Opposition Party and OPPOSE this hideous cabal bringing our country to ruin, or they are NEXT!

Heading to the polls this afternoon. Had a very interesting chat w/ hubby last night who has been a registered Repub all his life. (Family had photos of Nixon all over the house and his Ma is GLUED to Faux - yuck) He actually said that he regretted that he hadn't changed his affiliation to Dem. Being a wiseass, I said "fat lot a good that does us today!" But he says he will change in time for the General.
