Wow! Lou Dobbs Sure Reamed Out George

Lou just had a closing message for President Bush on how he has not been telling us the truth on the National Guard guarding the Mexican border. He let him know they have been watching and have yet to see his 6,000 NG troops. He also pointed out the bragging President Bush has been doing and disputed his numbers.

I hope someone will have a transcript of the reaming out. It was refreshing and to the point.

guard is not guarding the boarder. He sets the governors up. The Governors will not let bush have control over the guard, and now bush needs to take over control of the guard. bush has to do this to protect us from evil.

And no, it's not being xenophobic to note that Bush lied. And that the law needs to be enforced. Illegal is illegal.

You have no idea the scope of the problem. Enforcing the borders and deporting all the illegal aliens is no solution. I intern at a place where we deport illegal aliens regularly. Many of these people were here since they were 8 years old. They went to high school here. They don't speak spanish. But we still deport many of them to mexico. And when we do, 3 generations of their family are sitting on in the proceedings in the spectator area. Some illegal, some american citizens.

And you know what? When we deport them, they're going to be right back, because there is nothing for them there.

Don't give me your dogmatic "illegal is illegal." The law is a creation of men. If there was a true justice in this world, we would let those people be here. They deserve it.
