If Joe wins will it humble him to think how close he came to losing or |
|
make him more prideful and think he can't lose no matter what.
Also, if he wins, what effect will it have on other Democratic contenders?

It will be a referendum on the Liberals vs DLC in the party. Joe, fairly or not, has been painted as the poster boy of conservative Democrats and if he wins over Lamont it will be a major set back for liberals and a major victory for DLC members. I wouldn't count Joe out. The DLC usually wins. I myself admit that I like to think of our party as liberal, however I believe in my heart it is untrue. I bet only 20-30% of Dems consider themselves liberals.

5. I think Lieberman will be even more conservative. |

I think he will be so entrenched with the Bushites and more right-wing he will make Zell Miller look like a Communist.
