What a despicable display of bias Matthews' show was tonight!
I never watch him any more, but tonight I was doing something else while listening to Keith. When Keith's show ended, Tweety came on with his election night special, I think it was. Since I was in the middle of something, I left the TV on and figured "Well, I should listen/watch now and then and see if they're still shilling for neocons."

Okay, I'll give him credit for asking Lieberman's campaign manager some reasonably tough questions that put him on the spot. But he had the loser's campaign manager for almost half the show. He talked about how long it's been since an incumbent senator got defeated in a primary. He had some various analysts on. He talked and talked and had a bunch of talking heads on talking and talking.

But on the night that Lamont accomplished what hardly ever happens, in a full hour show:

How long did he have the winner on, who accomplished this remarkable feat? 0 seconds

How long did he have any representative of the winner or his campaign? 0 seconds

How long did he have any supporter of the winner on? 0 seconds

What a despicable display of bias!

1. Its a contradiction for me
because I like knowing the news yet find myself increasingly disgusted by a seemingly out of touch media elite with blowhards and fatheads smugly analyzing matters with little understanding and much arrogrance. Cokie Roberts displayed this very well on "This Week." Send these people to a museum. I think its safe to say that these days, I watch John Stewart less for comedy and more for examples of how bad our media has gotten.
