Just how committed are you to KEEPING Lamont moving???

Rasmussen's last poll shows a 40%/40%/13% split between Lamont/Lieberman/Schlesinger.

Schlesinger is TOAST, but Lieberman's going to get a decent chunk of the 13% of the republicans who couldn't vote in the Dem primary, and in case anyone didn't notice, yesterday was a squeaker!

Sure, Lamont's going to get money from DNC sources and all, and yeah, he's got money, but you better believe Joe's going to get money from individuals on the other side of the aisle who would rather see an independent than a REAL DEMOCRAT.

BTW, aren't we glad we compete in all 50 STATES as a party now and not just the ones that are purple? But I digress...)

Anyone notice that all the headlines are "Lieberman loses to anti-war challenger" and "Lieberman loses, will run as independent"??? Sadly, it appears that even though Ned won the race, Joe is winning the story.

So, just how committed are you to CONTINUING NED'S PROGRESS?

We need to MAXIMIZING Ned's bump and minimize any possibleprogress for Joe.

Well, I for one hate what the GOP has done to our country. I hate that they invaded Iraq, that they've bigoted our nation against an entire region of the world, that they've wasted hundreds of billions of our dollars, attempted to constiutionalize discrimination, attempted to privatize social security, ignored the health-care challenges of our population, imposed their own religious beliefs on the public, grown our national debt to its largest size ever, nominated/confirmed right-wing wack-jobs, and squandered every bit of credibility that our nation has had with the rest of the world - even the 90% approval we had after 9/11. They aren't even "conservatives" by any definition of the word.

WHAT'S MORE, I HATE THAT JOE LIEBERMAN HAS BEEN COMPLICIT IN THIS ALL ALONG. HE HAS BEEN RIGHT BY THESE NUT-JOBS THE WHOLE TIME.

I AM COMMITTED TO BEING PART OF THAT SOLUTION... so I just moved my happy little butt over to the Ned Lamont website (which is still up, by-the-way, namely because his campaign isn't run by a bunch of morons) and made a donation.

YEAH, I JUST GAVE MORE MONEY TO NED...

Why? Because the $5000 he just got from HillPAC might buy, a 1/8 page ad in the Hartford Courant in a Tuesday late edition. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - Do the same thing. Its not about how much we give, its about how many of us give.

I feel confident that Ned's team spent less time partying than they did digging in and redrawing battle plans. We need to show him that we're still behind him - with a wave of cash that helps him knock Joe off his feet before he even gets his decrepit, DINO, GOP-wanna-be ass back up.

3. I just donated what little I could this morning...

Joe is going to have Corporate, Republican, and DLC $$$ backing him up. Ned is out there alone, where we put him, so we need to pony-up whenever we can. I believe that.
