I live in NE Ohio so that should tell you something.

Hard core republicans are blind, deaf and dumb and devoted to the republican label beyond reason. Lemmings, all of them.

I am proud that the CT voters stood up for justice and voted not as lemmings, but as concerned citizens who voted to send this country a message.

Never has a vote been so important.

Every single anti-war voter in this country needs to get out and work like someones life depended on it.......to get anti-war Dem's elected this fall.

Bless you Conneticut......for your stand up and show up yesterday!

3. I'll second that emotion!
Although it looked like a done deal when I went to bed at 9:30, I was so delighted to wake up today and see the results.

Connecticut, you're the best! :yourock:

Next I'm hoping that Rhode Island will kick out Chaffee! Status quo/bushco must go!! :kick:

4. Get too close to a Burning Bush and you'll get torched.
Liberal values still mean something in this country, and CT voters spoke for the unheard majority today. The movie "Why We Fight" ended with a great quote and I'm paraphrasing - "Why do we fight? Because not enough people will stand up and say 'I don't want to do this anymore'". Well, they stood up tonight. The end of GOP appeasement happened in Connecticut last night and hopefully, Ned's victory will set a trend nationwide of more good, honest, hard working and woefully marginalized people who will say "I don't want pain and suffering anymore. It's enough."

7. Tasini in New York next?
Now, if we can only get Jonathan Tasini for the Democratic Senate nomination in New York.

8. We've been trying to get our elected Democrats to find the balls
Edited on Wed Aug-09-06 08:04 AM by Totally Committed
to stand up and represent us. In some cases, it partially worked, and in most it didn't at all. So, we stood up and started the ball rolling ourselves. We began to take back our Party from the Bush-loving colluders who couldn't find their balls with a magnifying glass.

We need to build on this momentum and make this a loud wake-up call to all flaccid and cowering Democrats that they either stand up and represent us or they are gone.

Viva la Revolución!

CT, you did us all proud last night!!!!

TC
