I think anyone who is seen has close to Bush is going to have a very hard time getting reelected.

3. Exactly! It was way more than just the war |
|
It was how Joe and the BFEE have been pretty much joined at the hip lately. That's what the issue has been! The war was one part of it.

8. I think this was just the first example........ |
|
....I think we will be seeing other incumbents experiencing a similar outcome as Lieberman.
For 6 yrs, we've seen Republicans (I know Lieberman is not a Republican,well.......at least not yet) refuse to even question Bush! And in fact, they give him almost everything he asks for! Our economy sucks and yet when Bush asks for billions more for the war, the Republicans always come through for him. They spy on US citizens without a warrant and not only do the Republicans not investigate, they don't even ask the appropriate questions!!! They outed a CIA officer during a time of war and still haven't been forthcoming about how or why that happened. Once again, the Republicans do not question their motives. And the list goes on and on and on.
It is things like this that will bring down any politician who has enabled Bush's criminal deeds!!! But now the voters are showing their congress people what they think.........and congress won't be happy about what their constituents have to say!

6. And, while you're at it.... ask him to sit Joe down and tell him |
|
the reality of the situation, and prevail upon him not to run as an Independent. It probably won't help... Joe's pretty convinced he's the Messiah of the Democratic Party... but, it couldn't hurt.
