No Damn Wonder Leiberman Lost News Hr.
Edited on Wed Aug-09-06 07:08 PM by hollowdweller
Did anybody see he and Lamont this evening on PBS's News Hour? Lamont came off as kind of a guy happy to have won and didn't really even take the opening to bash Leiberman about running as and independant when it was left out there.

Lieberman came off as a total arrogant ass. All he did the whole time was whine about getting beat and really trash Lamont in a totally unsportsmanlike manner, called him unfit, etc.

If that's how Leiberman campaigned no wonder he lost. As arrogant and just plain rude as he was on News Hour I think the more he speaks the less chance he will have to topple Lamont. He sounded like a sore loser a perfect example of the arrogant upper crust.

he made a mistake of attacking Lamont on the night Lamont won....he showed his true colors. He is selfish.....and beholden to the * cabal..

4. I wonder if people are finally getting tired of voting on smear

The tried and true stuff seems to be wearing out for the GOP or Leiberman. I think with the net and various other media outlets that people have an easier time sizing up a candidate. The news reporters seem to have even taken a turn to the investigative and are actually reporting more on how candidates stand on the issues rather than just reporting the latest smear and response.

2. I saw that and ITA. And then I was lsitening to a few minutes of
Tweety and they concluded that Lieberman's quest for sigs for the Independent filing may have put Lamont over the top. IOW, by preparing to lose, he made it happen. Oh well.

And "arrogant ass" is a good description of how Lieberman sounded.

3. Lieberman is a classic example of his core supporters who are not
really Dems but neocons.
