Im ready to endorse Ned Lamont... |

Im ready to support Ned Lamont.
I called him a joke, a one issue candidate, and no-name who didnt have a shot, but whats done is done. The CT Democrats have spoken and they want Ned Lamont to represent them in the U.S. Senate. Thats what primaries are about. All too often in this country senators are elected and they immediately assume their seat is a GGR (GOD GIVEN RIGHT). Well, hopefully that day is dead.
I am disappointed that Lieberman has decided to run as an Independent, but there is no law stating he cannot; therefore, that decision is totally up to him.
However, If I were him I would take my defeat like a man and respectfully bow out of the race. When a team loses in the AL/NL Championship, they cannot file a petition and suddenly qualify for the World Series. And even if they could, they wouldnt, because it just aint right. Its about pride, respect, and being a man (or a woman ;) ).
Hopefully Ol' Joe will take my advice.

1. Joe taking advice from a Dem? |

Don't count on it. Karl Rove? Yes. Principled Democrats? Uh...not a chance!
Thanks for supporting the Democratic nominee even if you don't agree with many of his positions.

Too bad Joe doesn't!!
Whatever good things he may have done before the last six years will be erased by his actions over the next 3 month.

I've always said that I like DLC people, but do not like the DLC organization very much at all. DLC sucks. But DLC people are cool, rational, and just ordinary people just like the rest of us. They are part of what makes the Democratic Party such a great organization.
Now, if we could only convince the DLC to just go away, we could just all be ordinary people with a diversity of opinions. Wouldn't that be completely awesome?

6. Very courageous of you |

It's difficult to lose respect for someone you've supported so long.
You can go through the rationalizations only so far and then you realize that that it's futile.
I've been there.
