because it will be the final nail in his political "coffin."
:sarcasm:
(to be clear--not really, but I do see a silver lining, given that he's decided to do this.)
This egomaniac has misoverestimated (as his pretzeldent would say) his political appeal again and again. I think he saw those 3-way poll results (which will certainly be very different when they are next done) and thought he was a shoo-in for the general election, so why not run? It is a shame that resources will have to be wasted in showing him once and for all the correct interpretation of all of his losses.
What I do not understand is how some office holders keep talking about what a great human being he is. I think his behavior last night took away any doubt about what kind of person he is. It seems to me they could come up with some other form of faint praise when they are announcing their intention to support the Democratic nominee, Lamont.

1. What bugs me is people who say we voted for him as VP. |
|
Which technically isn't true. We voted for Al Gore who picked him as his running mate.
I certainly never cast my ballot for Lieberman.

2. Agreed. Holy Joe was added to offset the evil Clinton aura. |
