1. Tweety spoke about it on Hardball today

It was during his segment with Ken Mehlman. Mehlman tried to sort of deny it by saying he didn't know about it. Tweety said they were past all that and that it did happen. I think he even spoke of the verification being Joe L's campaign manager. But check out the Hardball transcript for what was actualy said.

Even Tweety slapped down Ken Melman today when Ken tried to claim he didn't know about it. Tweets slapped him down in mid sentence and said something like "Too late to deny it, it's already been verified as being a legitimate call."

So I guess it's real.

You'll need the transcript. But it is clear the information is true because Melman backed down after Tweet's told him he knew it was true and that Ken couldn't bullshit him. It was obvious Ken knew it was true, too.
