Suppose Lieberman decides to caucus with the GOP??? |
|
If he wins with the GOP support, it is not impossible that it is because they have made a deal. I wouldn't be surprised if they are already talking. GOP election support in trade for Joe becoming an independent who caucuses with the GOP and gets a committee chair thrown in. Connecticut voters should be wary of this possiblity. He has shown where his loyalties are.

2. That is a given already. His entire newfound persona relies exclusively |
|
on his "I'm not them" image.
The posters running around saying we need to leave him in his committee spots need to stop and realize how much damage they are doing to the party.

5. That's precisely why Dems have to sanction him NOW. |
|
No committee assignments or any other party benefits. Let him get his committee assignments from the GOP.
Then, let him try to claim that he's running as an "independant Democrat".
He'll only get votes from devoted Lieberkind and the Repugs. Democrats will flee from him like rats from a sinking ship.

7. If he caucuses with them, he counts as a Repub |
|
It will make it harder to win back the Senate.
As for committee assignments now, there aren't many more days when they actually do any more work. The decision would have to be made in January, that is if he wins. I think he should be put on the defensive now about caucusing with the GOP. It would be a very uncomfortable question to answer.

Joe is a loyal Democrat. He's still a member of the Democratic party and he'll be caucusing with them if he wins in November.
Despite how much Ned and his supporters want to lie about it, Joe will never become a Republican.

11. "Loyal" Democrat? Hardee-har-har |

Joementum's only loyalty is to himself
Joe won't become a Republican because he already is a Republican.
Fuck him and his quixotic campaign. I hope he chokes on his bitter loser bile.
