Re post ..... Call Senator Reid's office today .... Joe must go!
Wanna run as an indie, Joe? Then the democratic leadership should
treat you as the backstabbing little shit you are. He should be gone from his
place on committees and he should not be allowed in any democratic caucuses
too.

From Wiki.
"On August 8, Lieberman conceded the Democratic nomination to Lamont 52 percent to 48 percent. He has pledged to run as an independent in the upcoming election.<139> Recent three way polls show Lieberman far ahead of both Lamont and Schlesinger in the general election, polling almost double the support of second placed Lamont.<140>"

Joe is on; Homeland Security, Armed Services, Environments & Public Works, and Small Businesses.

3. Why do this?
It just hands Lieberman a campaign weapon to use. It makes no sense politically, and it will be viewed as petty by Connecticut voters

4. becuase he is no longer a dem.
so why should he get the benefits and prestige of being
sitting on committees as a dem, which he will use in his
campaign this fall.

It is his mess let him live in it.

5. Is it worth...
Potentially losing the seat?

I don't think so...I want him out of there and I do not think handing him a political weapon is the best way to go about that.
