Lieberman did NOT win every county except New Haven
the author of the original thread was unable to edit the post that falsely said he did.

I thought the truth deserved its own thread.

8. which tribe did your ancestors belong to up here in CT?
Edited on Thu Aug-10-06 09:03 PM by jonnyblitz
Was it the Pequot tribe? I live near the Mohegan tribe about 45 minutes away. :hi:

I am assuming you are native american by your screenname and avatar!

I have only lived here a few years and haven't learned all the history yet.

9. Oh geez!
Chief Massasoit's tribe-why in the world did the name just escape me? I'm related to them, slightly, through Cathone Wheldon, whose father married Massasoit's neice. But what I was referring to in the post were some Europeans who founded the town of New Haven.

Thank you kindly for considering my avatar and name Indian. I do honor the Native ways, but the name and avatar are from the Sufi tradition.

7. Is there any breakdown of the demographics of the vote?
Rich, poor, white, black, and such?

12. The Hartford Courant
has a breakdown of how the towns voted. If you know CT, you can get a bit of an idea. I will say that Fairfield County, probably the wealthiest County in CT, went for Lamont. Of course, it's Lamont's home County, but.....
