I recently received a petition from Carl Levin's office
asking me to sign it. (I signed it) I think someone also posted the petition on DU. The petition or letter was to bush asking him to end our open ended commitment in the Iraqi war. The letter from Levin said the entire Democrat leadership signed the letter. I'm trying to find out if all the Democrats in both the House and the Senate signed the letter, not just the leadership. Does anyone out there in DU land have any knowledge about this? I wrote to Levin's office asking, but have not heard anything and probably won't because everyone is on vacation. I'm really curious about this. Although I have signed the petition,I'm wondering why I should have signed it if all the Dem Congress members haven't.
