Need help responding to a LTTE
A guy wrote a LTTE to my local paper today pointing out some of the more partisan remarks Howard Dean has made (as if we expect something else from the head of the DNC), and ended the letter with, "To be fair, I would also like to include some ridiculous comments made by former and present Republican National Committee Chairmen Ed Gillespie and Ken Mehlman, but I couldn’t find any."

I know that's not true, but my Googling skills aren't what they should be this particular weekend, so can you guys help me out here?

And, in fact if you look at that information, the information says that Bob Novak's source was somebody else, not Karl Rove, and it says in the case of Matt Cooper, that Karl Rove discouraged Matt Cooper from writing a story, which in fact turned out to be the right thing to do because a lot of what Joe Wilson said was wrong. - Ken Mehlman interviewed by Gwen Ifil

Novak gave his first extended interview about his role in the CIA leak probe, telling Fox News that Rove was a confirming source for Novak's column that outed Plame's CIA identity.

3. well, I think lying about Rove is big but I think you want more
like this:

"What do you call a dictator with a nuclear bomb?" Ken Mehlman, the head of the Republican National Party demands to know, deftly flipping my question around and ready with the answer. "You call him sir!" he says.
