Anybody heard of any Repug attacks on Chuck Hagel?
Hagel has come right out and said that Iraq is a disaster. I've googled around a bit and found no evidence that any high profile Republican, or whackjob pundit like Hannity or Coulter, has said anything about Hagel even remotely similar to what Lieberman has said about Democrats.

and you bring up a good point. That said, I want Sen. Hagel to keep speaking up, and for no one to attack that.

2. I hope someone does attack him.
The more the Republicans argue amongst themselves, the better it is for us dems.

5. I wouldn't really say they stick together.. look at Chafee for example..
Aren't they trying to oust him from the campaign? They aren't supporting Katherine Harris.. and most ReTHUGS probably don't even know their candidate running against Lamont and Lieberman.

I still remember when "Hastert the Bastard" was asked by the media about some comment that John McCain said that was critical of a Republican, and Hastert said with his big lip sticking out in anger "John who?!?.. I don't know a John!"

Of course, McCain never gets upset at anything ReTHUGS say or do against him. He just smiles, bends over and takes it time and time again.

They eat their own... it's just not as newsworthy for some reason as it is when Democrats do it.

As far as Hagel goes, every once in a while I think "wow, he doesn't seem like the typical Republican senator".. then I listen to Thom Hartmann and I'm reminded of his dirty dealings and ties to the voting machines that elected him.. http://www.commondreams.org/views03/0131-01.htm

Then I realize.. nope, he has the same lack of ethics as the rest of them.

4. Hagel also said that both Dems and GOP should stop politicizing
the war on terror. He had to be thinking about Cheney and Joe L. when he said that.
