this morning ( my favorite show!) had Evan Thomas assistant managing editor for Newsweek on for interview and call-ins.........please listen to the half hour OR just the last 15 minutes(start clock at 30 minutes into interview for my commentary) On top of page.

1) 26 minutes into interview a caller (RW republican) was disturbed NOT by US wiretapping but Arlen Specter's objection to the process. They have no respect for checks and balances, protection of your civil liberties.
2) We are having difficulties getting (arabic,farsi) translators IF they have RELATIVES that still live in the middle east??
3) 39 minutes into the interview/call-in a smart caller acknowledged that our problems in the ME stem from US MSM not covering ROOT causes created by all US foreign policies...you have to listen to Evan Thomas's responce....no wonder we are in this mess
4) last caller had no problem with giving up civil liberties protections like wiretrapping because she is doing nothing wrong
