Is Barbara Boxer going to run for president? |
|
I personally don't see her as as electable on paper as a Wesley Clark certainly, or Russ Feingold. But going from what I know of her and what I've seen from her, I think she could/would be as good a president as them.
And being from California with a name that's alliterated, and very representative of base types of the party (a smart woman of Jewish descent), could give her the talk about being a left-of-center parallel to Reagan for democrats, or what she could do for the party if she was successful.

I will always remember her standing up for us in the Senate - refusing to let her name be associated with the certification of the election results.

4. Yes. She stood tall that day. An unforgettable moment, too. |
|
Boxer faces long odds on the nomination but she would make a terrific president.

I'm not really interested in whether DUers would vote for the democratic candidate for president in a general election, no offense.

9. I hope so. I like her politics. I like her personally. And I like that |
|
Californian industry would get behind her.
The only state that can offset the power of Texas is California, and it's time that California stands up and carries the rest of the flag for the rest of the nation in the battle for America's future against Texas.
